Residential slab rates (LT-A)
BERC retail tariff, effective June 2026. Slabs are progressive — each slab rate applies only to the units inside that slab.

The lifeline ৳4.63 rate applies only when total monthly use stays at 50 units or less.
How this estimate works
- Energy charge: units are billed slab by slab (telescopic), not at a flat rate.
- Demand charge: ৳42 × your sanctioned load (kW).
- Meter rent: flat monthly charge, varies by utility and meter type.
- VAT: 5% applied on the subtotal (energy + demand charge + meter rent).
- Rebate: 5% discount on the net bill for on-time payment (optional above).
